Red Bird
In the contemporary landscape, navigating medication schedules poses a formidable challenge. Precision in adhering to prescribed dosages at designated times is imperative for the preservation of health and overall well-being. Enter Red Bird, an innovative dose-taking application meticulously crafted to simplify and optimize your medication regimen, offering a comprehensive solution to this critical aspect of healthcare management.
Medical devices often require precise dose setting to ensure patient safety and efficiany. However, excessive complexity in the UI can lead to user error and medication mistake
We crafted an intuitive interface to ensure that anyone, regardless of age or technical proficiency, could easily and accurately take their medication. Our focus on accessibility, user-friendliness, and reliability made the experience seamless for all.
I joined the project at a slightly later stage, stepping into a scenario where the design system had already taken shape. My primary responsibility involved a pivotal task - transmuting the existing Design System from iOS specifications to Android standards. In addition to this transformative task, I embraced the challenge of creating numerous new screens for various modules. These additions were not merely arbitrary; they were meticulously crafted to align with the unique requirements and preferences of our client. This dual role of adapting the design system and creating bespoke screens showcased my versatility and proficiency in both adhering to established standards and pushing the creative boundaries when necessary.
In addition to translating the design system, I played a crucial role in crafting diverse modules and implementing numerous modifications to existing screens for the client. Throughout this process, I maintained a focus on ensuring that the introduced changes did not add unnecessary complexity for the users.
Various segments I tackled during the translation of design from iOS to Android
To bridge the gap between Android and iOS experiences, I designed a comprehensive set of screens for Android, prioritizing speed, clarity, and accessibility based on the material guidelines. Additionally, I developed several new screens for key submodules streamlining user flow and adding valuable features.
My responsibilities encompassed the enhancement of various modules, including refining the onboarding process, optimizing the app walkthrough experience, and introducing improvements to the observer view. Additionally, I took on the task of conceptualizing and implementing new modules, such as the edit reminder flow and several innovative modals.
In addition to my primary design responsibilities, I undertook the crucial task of developing a comprehensive guide for the client. This guide served as an invaluable resource, meticulously detailing the distinctions between the iOS and Android versions of the application, with a particular focus on visual disparities. The objective was to offer the client a clear and insightful overview of the nuanced design elements specific to each platform, facilitating a deeper understanding of how the app's visual identity translated across diverse operating systems.
In-depth guide illustrating distinctions between iOS and Android for the client
The task at hand demanded a meticulous approach as I undertook the intricate process of translating all components meticulously from the iOS specification to align seamlessly with the Android specification. This involved a comprehensive analysis of the unique features and design principles inherent to each platform. The goal was not merely to replicate but to adapt and optimize the user interface elements, ensuring a cohesive and native experience for Android users.

CONCLUSION
By striking a balance between simplicity and accuracy, I created user-friendly interface that promote safe and effective medication administration. This approach not only minimizes the risk of errors but also contributes to improved patient outcomes and overall healthcare quality.
